The winner of this round was Zsolt Kálnay, a young talented and hard-working driver. He outplayed favorites like Viktor Juhász and Bálint Rajki (former ETS stock winner). You can read his report below :
The 5th round of the Hungarian National Championship took place in Budapest 12th of January. I was running in Modified class with my XRAY T3 2012. The rules are international standard with controlled LRP CPX tires. The finals were exciting and I took the overall win in modified, so this is a great success for the small but entousiast Hungarian XRAY team.
The track is a low/medium bite carpet. For setup I started with 3.5° rear toe-in due to the low grip conditions in the morning, but as the grip increased I went back to 3 degrees and changed the diff oil to 1500 cst. The car performed very well from the beginning, it was very consistent and had a very high corner speed!
Forgot to mention the Super stock class where Viktor Kiss made a second place. Super Stock is 13.5 touring with turbo and pre-defined motors like ROAR.
